A presentation by Chinese, Japanese, and Korean UIC faculty on the histories and forms of brush calligraphy in Chinese, Korean and Japanese cultures, followed by hands-on practice in brush work; participants will make bookmarks using their own brush work on Xuan paper.  No knowledge of Chinese, Japanese, or Korean needed
