Hanae Kim Presents Research at the 2026 Global K-Culture Conference
Introduction
Hanae Kim presented at the 2026 Global K-Culture Conference, held at Chungbuk National University in South Korea. Her presentation, titled “K-Culture and Critical Pedagogy: Teaching Culture and Contemporary Issues Through Korean Media,” examined how K-culture media including K-pop, K-dramas, film, webtoons, fashion, and beauty culture can be integrated into U.S. college-level general education courses to foster critical engagement with contemporary global issues.
