Hanae Kim Receives Ministry of Education Award
Hanae Kim, instructor of the new Korean language program, has received a Ministry of Education Award from the Deputy Premier and (concurrently) Minister of Education from the Republic of Korea, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of Korean education.
Ms. Kim was selected to receive this award for her efforts developing and disseminating Korean education in countries outside of Korea, including her significant efforts in establishing the Korean basic language program at UIC.
