Jessica Williams Brings UIC’s Architecture into the Spotlight
Introduction
Professor Jessica Williams, former head of the Department of Linguistics and now emerita professor, has long shared her passion for Chicago’s architectural legacy. As a dedicated docent for the Chicago Architecture Center, she has introduced countless visitors to the city’s iconic structures. Now, she’s adding a new dimension to her tours—with a special focus on UIC’s own rich and often-overlooked architectural history.
