Talks in East Asian Humanities and Culture

This archive contains materials from past talks in the Talks in East Asian Humanities and Culture series. The series was created in Fall 2024 by faculty members from the Chinese, Korean, and Japanese language programs in response to a strong demand among UIC students for better connections to diverse cultural and humanities practices and movements in East Asia. Designed for UIC undergraduate students, the series focuses on a variety of perspectives that integrate scholarly work and professional experiences. Some events are video-recorded with the consent of the guest speakers and audience members for sharing. You can log in with your UIC credentials to watch the recordings.
