Please join us as Prof. Yuki Miyamoto from DePaul University talks on the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the discrimination against the victims. She will also discuss nuclear weapons in the contemporary world.
Dr. Yuki Miyamoto is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at DePaul University. Topics of her research include nuclear discourse and environmental ethics. Her many publications include Beyond the Mushroom Cloud: Commemoration, Religion, and Responsibility after Hiroshima (2012).
