Introduction
Korean culture and language are wonderfully rich and diverse. From K-pop and K-drama to kimchi an bibimbap to Hanji (traditional mulberry paper), calligraphy, and folk dance, there's something for everyone to enjoy!
Our program works to introduce students to the Korean language and the culture that is so closely connected to it. Through our language and advanced culture courses, students gain exposure to various aspects of everyday Korean life.
We also collaborate with organizations on and off campus to bring Korean and Korean-American cultural events to the UIC community.
