Event picture

Mark Temenak (Spanish-English Certified Speech-Language Pathologist), Tamaya Levy (research consultant with research interest in raciolinguistics and educational policy), and Allison Yasukawa (Director of Multilingual Art & Design Pedagogy, California College of the Arts) returned virtually to UIC for a "Careers in Linguistics" panel. Some of the career tips shared include joining professional organizations, participating in Special Interest Groups (SIGs), shadowing a professional in the field, and more. Recording and resources from the panel event can be accessed here.

Thank you, our amazing alums! The event was co-organized by Liz Herrera and her team at LAS Career Development and Internships
