About
Hitomi Shiga worked as an elementary school teacher in Japan for several years. She has also taught Japanese and Japanese culture in Finland, Canada, and Tanzania to K-12 and adults. After she moved to the U.S., she obtained a master's degree in world language education. She is licensed to teach world language Japanese as well as bilingual Japanese in the U.S. She is interested in how education changes people's lives, and she wants to support her students to enrich their lives through her Japanese class.
