Chinese/GLAS 209 class had a guest speaker from the business world

The Chinese/GLAS 209 class, led by Dr. Duosi Meng, welcomed a special guest from the business world—Helen Hockx-Yu, Principal Architect at McDonald's Global Technology. During this Chinese and cultural studies class, students listened as Hockx-Yu shared her story and encouraged them to ask questions and engage in discussion to practice their language skills. As an added element of this lesson, students were asked to match images to the spoken word in a multi-sensory learning environment.
