Dr. Hanae Kim Leads Educational Workshop on Korean Language at Korean American Bar Association of Chicago’s Annual Meeting
Dr. Hanae Kim (Lecturer and Coordinator of the Korean Studies program) recently conducted a community engagement activity in collaboration with the Korean American Bar Association of Chicago (KABA). During KABA’s annual meeting, Dr. Kim hosted an interactive Korean language lesson for children, introducing them to the Korean alphabet, Hangul. Through engaging “code-breaking” activities, the children also learned about the historical significance of Hangul and the lasting legacy of its creator, Great King Sejong.
