A Warm Welcome to Dr. Gyu-Ho Shin
We are excited to welcome our newest faculty member, Dr. Gyu-Ho Shin, who joins UIC and the Department of Linguistics as Assistant Professor in Computational Language Science. Professor Shin studies language acquisition/development, computational linguistics, Natural Language Processing, psychology of language, and corpus linguistics. His current research focus is on the interplay between linguistic knowledge and cognitive-psychological factors in the course of language learning, specifically on that at the interface of AI.
