Free, daily course support for students in the Linguistics and CS+Linguistics programs

Wednesday: 1-2:30pm
Thursday: 2-4pm
Friday: 10-11:30am and 2-4pm

Who? This service is available to:
- CS+LING majors/pre-majors
- LING majors/minors
- Anyone enrolled in a linguistics course
Where? In person (1650 University Hall) or over Zoom.
What can tutors help with? Spring 2025 tutoring is offered for the following courses:
- LING 150, 160, 210, 220, 230
- CS 111/112/113, 141, 151, 211, 251
- MATH 180, 181 and STAT 381.
Do I need to reserve in advance? For Zoom appointments, yes. For in-person, we recommend booking in advance so our tutor can dedicate their full attention to you and optimally prepare for your session, but walk-ins are also welcome! CS+LING Peer Tutors

Trevor Joellenbeck is a 3rd-year CS + LING major with experience in Python / C / C++ programming languages, Calculus I / II, basic statistics, and sociolinguistics / phonetics & phonology / semantics / other introductory linguistics topics.

Alondra Flores is a 3rd-year Computer Science and Linguistics major with a strong foundation in Python, C++, and R programming languages. She is skilled in using Jupyter Notebooks for data analysis and visualization, and has completed coursework in Calculus I and II, Statistics, and introductory linguistics topics including syntax, phonetics, phonology, and morphology.
